UNKLE have two tracks appearing in the forthcoming new X-Files movie, including the band's reworking of the theme tune.
The first of the songs is an original piece called 'Broken' that was hand-picked by series creator Chris Carter after he was sent the piece from a music supervisor at 20th Century Fox.
Carter instantly fell in love with the song, that first appeared on the 2007 UNKLE album 'War Stories', and will use it for the end credits say reports.
Also used on the end credits is a 'reinterpretation' of the X-Files theme which Carter personally asked UNKLE chief James Lavelle to create, after discovering he was a huge fan of the popular sci-fi TV series.
